Lúcia de Carvalho is a female world-music singer born in Angola, now living in France. For her new album, she undertakes a musical journey to Portugal, Angola & Brazil, in order to record with local musicians. Hugo Bachelet is a french director and cinematographer, born in 1984. Son of a news photographer, he studied film and started to work as a camera assistant on features, TV series, commercials and music videos. Since 2010, Hugo has worked as a director and/or cinematographer on commercials for Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Armani, Hennessy and many more. He has also directed several music videos, live shows and short music documentaries. He is a co-founder of Couac Productions, and "Kuzola, Songs of the Roots" is his first creative documentary feature as a director.
