Best SHORT FILM JURY
Tuna Kaptan is a director working between fiction and documentary. He studied at ENERC Film School in Buenos Aires and graduated at HFF Munich in documentary film directing. His films have won several awards at major international festivals, among them "Two at the Border" at IDFA and „Turtle Shells“ at Dok Leipzig. Premiering in Clermont-Ferrand his graduation film „Are You Listening Mother?“ became the most award-winning German short film 2019. He lives and works in Berlin.
Best Drama short JURY
Mette Norkjaer is the Creative Executive at BOOM! Studios, a production company and publisher with a First Look deal with 20th Century Studios and Netflix. BOOM! Studios controls the largest library of comic book IP outside of Marvel and DC Comics. BOOM! is currently developing multiple projects for film and TV including LUMBERJANES, GOLDIE VANCE, IMAGINE AGENTS, BOLIVAR, and many more. Mette earned her MFA from the prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts in 2016. She is originally from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Best ANIMATED FILM JURY
Award-winning animation director using 2D hand-drawn animation with thick brushstrokes, minimal backgrounds and abstract character designs to create beautiful and moving storytelling.
Best Student Project JURY
Bernhard was born 1992 in Salzburg, Austria. After graduating high school, he moved to Vienna, where he gained professional set experience. Since 2014 he studied at the Vienna Film Academy. His short film EXCUSE ME, I'M LOOKING FOR THE PING-PONG ROOM AND MY GIRLFRIEND was awarded Best Short Film at the Austrian Film Awards 2019, premiered at Moscow Film Festival, was selected by more then 120 international film festivals and received 40 awards. Bernhard's short EXIT RIGHT went viral on Facebook in 2018 with more then 12mio views in total and two of his films have been broadcasted by ARTE and received Vimeo Staff Picks. Currently Bernhard is developing his debut feature film PEACOCK. With his script he was selected for the 40th Cinéfondation Residence of the 73rd Festival de Cannes 2020.
